About Me

A picture paints a thousand words. It seems like photographs is something that we should begin appreciating more and more as they help us preserve memories and express ourselves to levels that even best words can do. There’s more to photographs than just aesthetics as they are more than just display materials.

My name is Marcel Rius, a freelance photographer. For the past 5 years, I have been working as a freelance photographer, and I’ve snapped countless photos in my short career. Even before I had this job, I’ve already been trigger happy with a camera since I was a child. There’s just something about taking photographs that keeps me happy and overjoyed, and, I know that I’m not the only one who thinks the same way.

Photography has evolved a lot since its inception. Back in the days, people had to sit still for hours just to get one photograph. Now, pictures can be taken using phones. It’s a marvel seeing how this field has evolved quickly over the years and it looks like more and more technology will slowly make its way into making photography better.

Since I’m not the only one interested in this field, I have decided to establish this website and make it function as a virtual community for every photographer and photo enthusiasts worldwide. Let’s share tips. Let’s share ideas. Let’s share thoughts. Most importantly, let’s all share one camera lens as we aim to make this website one big album for the world to look at and eventually an inspiration.

It’s going to be pretty exciting seeing what other photographers of the world have to offer. Since we all live in different parts of the globe, I believe that each of us has the ability to showcase our respective land’s beauty through the camera and we’re sure that aspiring photographers are just as excited to see what their senior photographers are up to.

As a trigger-happy photographer, I not only want to take photos of whatever I find pleasing to the eyes, I also want to see what others see as pleasing too.
